If you haven't seen Pixar's Inside Out yet, I'll tell you it's meh bordering on yeaa.. so maybe worth a watch, if you've got kids. The big message in the movie is that it's okay to be sad, people should not try to be happy all the time. I can agree with this.
The only reason we know a high point in life is to have come from a low. So Wednesday's are now officially for those Heart-Wrenchers that let us indulge and reminisce in those sadder days or help us cope if it's feeling rough right now.
With that being said let's kick off Heart-Wrenching Wednesday with Youth by Daughter: this is a great song for many reasons and even with the upbeat rhythm driving it, you can't escape the lyrics that connect with you on every level and seem to apply to every situation.
Grab a tissue, wrap yourself in a blanket, and sit on the couch and stare meaningfully out the window it's #Heart-Wrenching Wednesdays.
