The Duke Spirit- Don't Wait
Gonna go with a standard handle today: Woman Crush Wednesday.
So on days like today we're gonna shine a light on those leading ladies or female musicians that we love, not for their looks (though we won't count it against them :P) but for their art.
Today's Special lady/band is Leila Moss from The Duke Spirit and you probably haven't heard of them in a while, if at all. The band (who is overall fantastic) and her vocals (and hint of an accent) are a perfect recipe for some great hits, for which they have plenty. Unfortunately they have been MIA for the last 5 years but I hear they might be making a resurgence!
